The Story Behind
I set out to create the most expensive painting in the world and reinterpreted Leonardo da Vinci in my own way. Shortly before it was finished, a father was allowed to paint his family into the picture. I told him that it looked as if he and his family were on fire. Shortly afterwards, the painting actually caught on fire. Luckily, I was able to extinguish the fire before it was completely destroyed, and I had to patch the canvas with a piece of leather. This accident led to an even greater masterpiece, blending elements of Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Munch, Basquiat and other grand masters with my own creations.
For the special year-end "Open Studio Night", I digitally divided this exceptional work of art into pieces and physically created 24 individual artworks in a 40 × 30 cm format. Open a door on the advent calendar and "Get a piece of me".
By purchasing one or more of the individual artworks, you become part of my select art community, Lindemann Limited, and receive exclusive access to my art, my career, and the other buyers.
