Sabrina Lindemann's Christmas Limited Edition "Mundis Wife"

“I wanted to create the most expensive painting in the world and reinterpreted Leonardo da Vinci in my own way. Shortly before its completion, a father was allowed to paint his family into the picture (top middle). I told him it looked as if he and his family were on fire. Shortly afterward, the painting actually caught fire. Luckily, I was able to extinguish the blaze before it was completely destroyed and had to patch the canvas with a piece of leather. This mishap led to an even greater masterpiece, in which I blend elements of Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Munch, Basquiat, and other great masters with my own creations.”

For this years Christmas, I hereby present a limited hand-signed and partially over-painted edition. The piece "Mundi's Wife" was digitally deconstructed and transformed into 24 individual artworks in the format 40 × 30 cm.
